The Tamed and Untamed Charity Fund

The Tamed and Untamed Charity Fund raises vital financial support for impactful wildlife protection and animal welfare initiatives across Central America. We provide continuous operational funding for two dedicated cat sanctuaries in Panama and Mexico—delivering daily care, medical treatment, and spay/neuter programs—while actively supplying local wildlife rescue centers with the specialized equipment and enclosures needed to rehabilitate native animals.

Expanding our reach, we support legal advocacy and emergency rescue efforts for sloths, native primates, and other threatened species throughout Panama. We are also actively raising funds to construct two protected turtle sand hatcheries on Isla Colón at Bluff Beach Nature Reserve and Bocas del Drago, safeguarding vulnerable nests of endangered Hawksbill, Leatherback, and Green sea turtles from poaching, predators, and coastal development.

Panama wildlife Fund

Panama is a small country with an extraordinary wealth of wildlife. Its forests, islands, rivers and coastlines provide a home and vital refuge for countless species — but this precious environment is increasingly under pressure from development, habitat loss and human infrastructure.

We believe Panama’s wildlife deserves a voice.

Through conservation projects such as wildlife rescue, wildlife bridges, habitat protection and legal action, we are working to protect Panama's wildlife, while creating lasting change for the future.

Speak up for those that cannot speak for themselves.

Every cat deserves a safe place to call home.

Our sanctuaries in Mexico and Panama provide a safe haven for abandoned, neglected and vulnerable cats who have nowhere else to go. We provide nutritious food, veterinary care, vaccinations, sterilisation and, most importantly, the patience, security and love they need to thrive.

For some, our sanctuary is a temporary stop on the way to a new home. For others, it is their forever home.

Your support gives them a second chance — and a safe place to belong.

Support us in obtaining necessary medical equipment and building rehabilitation enclosures for Wildlife

Wildlife rescue centers

When injured, orphaned or sick wildlife is rescued, the right care can mean the difference between life and death — and between returning to the wild and never being able to go home.

Wildlife rescue centres need specialised medical equipment to stabilise and treat animals, as well as secure rehabilitation enclosures where they can recover safely and regain the strength and natural behaviours they need to survive in the wild.

From emergency medical supplies and recovery cages to larger climbing, flight and pre-release enclosures, your donation helps give rescued wildlife the best possible chance of going home.

TURTLE CONSERVATION   TURTLE CONSERVATION

Leatherback turtle on Bluff Beach Bocas del Torr

We are excited to launch a vital new conservation funding project across Isla Colón—focusing on Bluff Beach Nature Reserve and Bocas del Drago, both critical sites host nesting grounds for three endangered sea turtle species: Hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata) -Critically Endangered, Leatherback turtles (Dermochelys coriacea) - Endangered, and the Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) -Endangered.

Today, these nesting sites face growing threats from coastal development, poaching, light pollution, predators, and changing beach conditions. Our planned turtle nurseries in Bluff and Drago will offer vulnerable eggs a safe haven to hatch, while directly supporting local beach patrols, monitoring efforts, and community conservation.
