Dr. Nancy dreamed of creating a safe haven for abandoned and neglected animals, and she brought that dream to life with Lori Cloutier joining her along the way. From the very beginning, they’ve dedicated themselves to giving every animal the love, care, and attention it deserves.
What began as a small sanctuary in Mexico has now grown to a new location in Panama, and they’re excited to keep expanding—reaching more animals, spreading hope wherever it’s needed, and supporting local organizations along the way.

Our journey began with a single sanctuary in Mexico, where we witnessed the incredible transformation of cats given a second chance. From emergency medical care to creating enriching environments, our partners work tirelessly to ensure that no cat is left behind.
Every sanctuary we support has a unique story of resilience and compassion, fueled by the dedication and generosity of donors who believe that every life matters.
Medical treatment

Lorenzo is the heart of our Mexico sanctuary, always there with a kind word and gentle hands. Every day, he cares for our animals with patience, love, and dedication, making sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and cherished.
His passion brings life and warmth to our sanctuary, creating a true home for every animal. Currently we support over 40 cats with food, love, care and medical help
For many stray cats, stepping into our care is the very first time they feel safe, warm, and loved. With gentle care, full bellies, and endless affection, we nurse these sweet souls back to health. Watching a frightened cat transform into a purring, happy companion is the pure magic your kindness makes possible.

At the Boca del Drago Cat Sanctuary in Bocas del Toro, Panama, Lori and Luke provide a safe haven for up to 40 stray cats. The sanctuary features three secure outdoor enclosures where the cats can safely play, climb, and relax.
Every rescue receives attentive medical care, nutrition, and lifelong affection. Healing a broken heart and a tired body takes time, patience, and lots of soft blankets. Through dedicated medical treatment and unconditional love, we guide our brave rescues along their path to complete recovery. Every happy head-butt and contented purr is a sweet reminder of what your compassion creates.
Community Support
Active Projects in Mexico
Supporting the Spay & Neuter Clinic in Xcalak as well as Garritas de las Lunas in Chetumal.
Garritas de la Luna—is an active animal rescue and community welfare effort in Chetumal—primarily through local rescue networks on social media.

How we Support

Foster and Adopt: Offer temporary foster homes or participate in responsible pet adoption initiatives shared by local groups.

Donate Supplies: Contribute pet food, cleaning supplies, or medical items when specific donation drives are announced.

Share Alerts: Amplify posts regarding lost, found, or rescued pets on community boards to help reunite or re-home animals in need.
